It is so exciting to Congratulate Dr. Laura Uhlmann and Dr. Carly Roberts for completing their PhD degrees in Clinical Psychology in 2019!  Carly’s PhD thesis was titled Body dysmorphic disorder in adolescents: A new multidimensional measure and associations with social risk, mindfulness and self-compassion (Supervisors Lara Farrell & Melanie Zimmer-Gembeck). Laura’s PhD thesis was titled Unpacking the fitness fallacy: An examination of the cognitions, affect and behaviour related to the belief that a fit female body aesthetic is ideal (Supervisors Caroline Donovan & Melanie Zimmer-Gembeck).
